Community Support
Creating Heart-Safe Communities Across Australia
At AED Authority, we’re committed to helping communities take action in the face of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) — a condition that can strike anyone, anywhere, at any time. Our focus is on removing barriers and making sure life-saving defibrillators, along with the knowledge to use them, are within reach for everyone.
We actively support schools, sports clubs, community groups, and public spaces through AED donations, educational resources, and advocacy. Our goal is simple: to create heart-safe environments where people live, work, and gather — no matter the postcode or budget.
Through these initiatives, we’re not just supplying devices — we’re building preparedness, raising awareness, and giving everyday Australians the power to save lives.
Where We’ve Made a Difference
We’ve proudly donated defibrillators, resources, and support to a range of organisations and spaces across Australia, including:
- Schools and educational institutions
- Sports clubs and recreational facilities
- Community centres and public parks
- Non-profit organisations and grassroots initiatives
We believe defibrillators should be as common and accessible as fire extinguishers.

How We Help Communities Stay Prepared
Our support goes beyond devices. We equip communities with everything they need to act with confidence in a cardiac emergency:
- AED Donations & Sponsorships
- Public Awareness Campaigns
- Free Educational Tools & Resources
- Advocacy for Policy & Legislative Change
Whether we’re donating a defib to a school or helping a local club apply for a grant, our goal is to build a culture of preparedness — one community at a time.
Our Contributions to the Community
AED Authority – Trusted since 2014
AED Authority is deeply committed to giving back to the community through various initiatives. Our contributions include the donation of AEDs, educational programs, and sponsorships that enhance the safety and well-being of communities across Australia.

Lions Club of Mannum
We supported Thomas, an 11-year-old boy who recognised the importance of having an AED in his community. Through his fundraising efforts, Thomas aimed to purchase a defibrillator for the Lions Club of Mannum in South Australia. AED Authority donated a Lifepak CR2 defibrillator, an outdoor cabinet, and signage, which Thomas recently presented to a very grateful Lions Club. This defibrillator will be installed outdoors and accessible to the wider community.
Royal Hotel Grong Grong / Welshpool Hotel
AED Authority donated a defibrillator as part of Stryker’s Forward Hearts program. The donation followed a heroic incident where bystanders saved the life of the pub manager, Brian after he suffered a cardiac arrest. The quick actions of the bystanders and the use of an AED were crucial in increasing Brian’s chance of survival.

Roll With The Punches Sponsorship
We proudly sponsor Roll With The Punches, an organisation dedicated to empowering individuals through fitness and resilience training. Our support helps them provide a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can achieve their fitness goals.
